Welcome

This website is dedicated to preserving information about multiple American families. These include the McClatchey family, but no less important the Blackford, Mann, Neel, Brooke, Cody, Morris, and others that are related to these. In the 19th century, these families were southern American families who suffered from the regional hubris preceding the Civil War and struggled with the chaos which followed. As often occurred in this multicultural country, the 20th century saw migrations to various other parts of North America. It is hoped that the information contained on this site will be available for generations to come and will be a resource to enhance the understanding of the many who have gone before.
